During 2020’s nationwide protests against police brutality, I suggested we donate space on the windows of our downtown office to give a group fighting for racial equality a chance to share whatever message they wanted. The ACLU of North Carolina told us they would like to see a message in support of defunding the police, and I collaborated with a local artist and designer to create this mural.
